Stage Management
While I am newer to stage management, my past career as an analytical chemist prepared me with several translatable skills: I am detail-oriented and passionate about efficient processes. I also have background in harm reduction with unhoused folks and care giving for disabled adults, which equips me to be a direct yet compassionate leader. I focus on positive leadership with emphasis on team building and collaboration. I deeply believe a joyful environment facilitates high quality work!
Assistant Stage Manager
The Struts & Frets Theatre Company based in the mid-Willamette Valley is a theatre troupe that produces free Shakespeare in the Park productions. This year, I joined the company as an Assistant Stage Manager for their production of Twelfth Night set in the Great Flood of the Willamette Valley in 1894 Monmouth, Oregon. Rehearsals took place at Dallas High School, and performances were at the Main Street Park Amphitheater in Monmouth. I helped maintain show documentation, managed stage right during the show, and helped set-up and strike the set each day.

Assistant Stage Manager
For Mt. Hood Community College’s studio theatre production of They Promised Her the Moon, I served as an assistant stage manager. I was responsible for activities on stage left during the show, as well as managing props. I created the ASM checklist for pre-show, intermission, and post-show checks. Additionally, I prepared the edible pie prop each show since I have an Oregon Food Handlers Card.
