About Me.

I am a trained chemist and lifelong lover of performing arts. After spending elementary through high school heavily involved in the theatre, I took a break from the arts to pursue a science education. I graduated from Oregon State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and dual minors in Toxicology and Food Science. I worked for various laboratories and manufacturers, mainly in the pharmaceutical industry. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I reevaluated my career path. After being involved with local performing arts troupes for circus, dance, and theatre, I realized my happiest version of myself involved the stage—either performing or making the magic happen backstage. I returned to school at Mt. Hood Community College in 2025 to study technical theatre in MHCC’s career and technical education program for Professional Theatre Technicians.
